Dec 24, 2013 was declared holiday by the government. I thought that I would at least spent half of this day sleeping since I already did the grocery and everything that’s needed for the night festivity, the Noche Buena. But I was wrong, cause even when I was still dreaming; I could already hear the busy sounds of something and smell of cooking.

Do you go through your mornings in one big blur? Do you find yourself racing from one task to another without enough time to breathe?
The morning rush is something we have grown accustomed to and we no longer question if chaotic mornings are the only way to go. But peaceful and blissful mornings are possible if we take the plungethe night before. A great day starts with good night’s sleep, making the morning plunge a relaxing dip into your day.
So here are a few things to do the night before to finally avoid the morning rush.
Have a to-do list and plunge into it
Instead of taking the morning plunge without warning, write a to-do list the night before to keep you focused. The first thing on every to-do list is to gather your wits and relax, and the best way to do this is to refresh your body and your mind. Drink your favorite Nestea in a Bottle as you make your list and you’ll find yourself in the zone and taking the plunge before your day even starts.
With the Christmas Season in full swing, festivities everywhere call for creative dishes to be savored with families and loved ones. This year’s Holiday joys were very much anticipated by Alaska Crema, as it aimed to bring sweet and savory goodness into each feast, with the Merry Crema’s Food Bazaar, held at Eastwood Open Park, on December 15, 2013.

The all-time favorite cookies, nibblers, brownies, muffins, and mini muffins that come in Christmas-themed gift canisters and special boxes will save you from the hassle and worries of finding a perfect edible gift. There are also the Christmas Biscuits (new!) and the Big Cookie Cakes (a must try!) that can be personalized with heartwarming messages. Each bite of these goodies will remind you how merry your Christmas can be.

Treston International College a culinary school in Metro Manila had an event last December 13 (Friday) from 8 AM – 6 PM and 14 (Saturday) 8 AM – 6 PM entitled “Christmas Bazaar for a Cause” at Treston International College’s Lobby. It was an open-house bazaar that aims to generate funds for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda. This is definitely an event I didn't want to miss.

I was invited to attend the Media Launch of Eat Your Heart Out. It was sponsored by BergHOFF and it was held at The Fundamental Kitchen. The company has a very neat and cozy kitchen in Rada, Makati. It was filled with kitchen tools and equipment, from the hand tools such as knives and spoons to the bigger ones like pots, pans and even induction cooker.
