Gaudi and Tapella Rolls out 14 New Dishes


For more than a decade, Gaudi has been revered as the restaurant that serves authentic Spanish cuisine. From bustling Jupiter St. to posh Ayala Malls like Greenbelt and Serendra, diners keep coming back for its Paella Negra (paella made with squid ink) and Chulleton Villagodio (certified Angus beef prime rib grilled according to the methods of Villagodio). In 2009, tapas, paella, and more took centerstage in Tapella where customers indulged in chorizo alvino (chorizo stewed in red wine), cojunodos (fried quail egg, pimiento and jamon Serrano), Manchego Cheese and Shrimp paella, along with a range of impeccable wines.

Executive Chef Alexandra Cacho continues to enhance the dining experience in her restaurants as she presents new gustatory delights that reflect the new trends in Spain.

It was a midday rush hour and I found myself starving at a crowded mall. Glancing elsewhere gave me an option to a variety of fast food chains labeled to have an image that would quench your thirst blended with a deep fry sumptuous meal. But then again, as a mother, I never give in to these kinds of options. Healthy and simply food would be top of my decisions despite my stomach would call for it

Hallowbeer 2012 at The Cheese Steak Shop Fort Strip



The Cheese Steak Shop Manila brings back Hallowbeer, a night of spooks and booze, this year to be held at its new branch in The Fort Strip, Bonifacio Global City, on October 27, 2012. 


In the spirit of Oktoberfest, The Cheese Steak Shop culminates this beer month with the traditional night of fun and overflowing beer.  But this year guests are challenged to take part in the first ever Hallowbeer-Pong Tourney!  Teams of two or three members will battle it out with other cheesesteakers for a chance to win P3,000 worth of gift certificates and prizes.  To guarantee a slot in the elimination round, teams must pre-register by emailing their team name and members’ names to events@cheesesteakshop.com.ph.  Games begin at 8pm sharp.
