Elegant, stylish and not to mention it’s located in
Rockwell. With this description you could immediately say that I’m dining in a
class A restaurant.
Cantinetta is located at Block
9 Power Plant Mall Rockwell Center Hidalgo Drive Makati. If you’re finances
can afford an extravagant meal, then this is definitely the place to go. It’s
nice to splurge once in a way especially if you’re dining with friends and want
to experience that first class service and hotel atmosphere. Cantinetta carries
a wide array of menus that’s definitely worth trying. Authentic Italian would
be appreciated with their good quality ingredients. I was so fascinated with
the care of how they presented each dish. Food lovers like our group was
excited to try each dish that was served.

Taste the Bene Difference at Caffe Benne
Drinking coffee has been one of
my ways of relaxation. Having a cup of coffee with friends is an enjoyable
pastime that I truly cherish. I usually
drink my coffee with a lot of cream and sugar of course, to usually cover up
the strong taste of coffee.
Recently, a coffee shop opened at
the Eastwood Citywalk 3 last November 29, 2012, Caffe Bene.

Bistecca : Premium Steak House
Location alone represents something; it could tell
you what class it belongs to. If you’re trying to locate a premium steak restaurant,
then Bistecca in
Rockwell is the one. Located at 122 Joya Rockwell Makati. If you are a steak
lover or someone who values the worth of your money when it comes to fine
dining then Bistecca is again the
answer to that question. I find Rockwell
Powerplant Mall as the haven for high end brands, top restaurant, elegance,
class and privacy and all of this criteria surely fits the Bistecca. Bistecca prides itself when it comes to steak; they
served only the best cut and the best quality steak that picky eaters usually
search. Giving not only good quality steak, Bistecca also provide good service
and privacy that event the president of the nation appreciate (the PSG is the
one that give away the clue whose dining inside the restaurant).

Italian Porchetta + Orange Truck = Chef Robby Goco
I say that what ever we created with our heart is a masterpiece. And when we create this masterpiece, we don’t
think of limitation and it’s boundaries but what it could present.
This
coming Feb. 22-25, 2013 is a date that food lovers shouldn’t miss as Chef Raoul Roberto “ Robby” Goco presents his
own masterpiece as he compete on the Food Truck Challenge at the Manila Food
and Wine Festival 2013
Chef
Robby’s variation of his Porchetta is his way of bringing two worlds of
culinary tradition – the Italian spiced pulled pork in a sandwich and Pinoy’s
well celebrated lechon.

A whole lot of lovin’ from Britain’s best loved biscuits
Valentine, Valentine, What’s with
Valentine’s day that everyone seems to go 360 degrees thinking what to give and
how to give their love one something to cherish or just the usual pogi points
as they say to be gain . No amount is spared just have that perfect something
for the love ones but giving is not just the end of it. We must also consider
what benefits our gifts could give.
McVitie’s Digestive |
Giving “sweet somethings” may be the
usual thing to do during Valentine’s Day. But when you give a gift of sweets to
your loved one or special someone on Hearts Day, it doesn't have to be always
something decadent and sinful.

Kohsamui Thai Cuisine : North and South Combined
Being adventurous means trying everything that my tang
would take me. Located inside the Hobbies of Asia is the Kohsamui Thai Cuisine,
their specialty is the authentic Thai yellow curry.
I had tried everything so far, Korean, Japanese,
Chinese and Pinoy cuisine; so why not Thai cuisine this time. I found out that the
restaurant just opened last December and officially open after a 40 day soft
opening. From day 1 up to day 40, adjustment were made to suite the demanding
taste of the Filipino.
The restaurant was founded by a group of friends who
enjoyed travelling and simple food trips. Their visit to the southern cities of
Thailand, where dishes are not as spicy as its northern counterpart, opened
opportunity to explore a twist in the common notion that curry means
spicy. And they say the rest was history
and KohSamui Thai Cuisine is born in recognition of the Koh Samui Island where
it all started.

Kokoro Ramenya : Ramen and More
Another invitation came up to last week, to join my
friends to some ramen adventure. Located
at the 2nd floor of Avenue of the Arts Bldg is the recently open
Kokoro Ramenya. I was expecting that the
restaurant would only be serving ramen but I was surprise with the variety of
Japanese cuisine they offer. I started my craving for Japanese food two years
ago when I tasted my first California maki and from then on, the rest was
history as they say.

Lucky me at Clucky's Chicken
It had to said, “My love for Korean food had jump to
another level because of Clucky’s Meal, from the way they cooked and presented their
versions of fried chicken to the gelato dessert, not to mention the famous brew
iced tea”.
I just came from a trip in Los Banos Laguna, when a
couple of friends invited me to have a dinner with them. Since the said
restaurant is located at the G/F Tower 2 of Rockwell Business Center in Ortigas
which is near my residence, how could I say "no". How lucky I am that
I did not say “ No” to them even though I
am so tired and just want to go to sleep.
Eng Bee Tin : The Home of the Best Hopia and Tikoy
Whenever
I’m in Binondo, one of my priority is to pass by at Eng Bee Tin Chinese Deli
and purchase the famous ubehopia and tikoy.
I don’t know why but ubehopia has this aroma that you can’t resist and
taste that keeps me coming back for more. Eng Bee Tin made sure that I got the
finest hopia to take home to my love ones.

Dunkin’ Donuts for Derek Ramsay : My One and Only
I was envious when Derek Ramsay told me that he had found his
new love at the last media event I attended. Derek Ramsay has this to say about
his new love, “There’s only Dunkin’ Donuts for me. Many sweet things have come
and gone in my life, but Dunkin’ Donuts lingered with me through the years.
This is not just a brand I endorse; this is a product I truly enjoy, donuts
that I crave for regardless, whether I’m here or abroad.”
The new face of Dunkin’ Donuts, the country’s leading
donuts, coffee, and baked goods chain, is a hot new offering that’s sure to
salivate everyone’s taste buds – literally and figuratively. Derek Ramsay
kicked off his endorsement with the P199 a dozen promo of Dunkin’ Donuts
Classics, which is extended until February 10, 2013.

Mr. Ube and Rice Noodle House: All your Soup will come true in one Roof
I was called in so many names; purple, violet, lilac
but the most appetizing of them all is no other than “UBE”
I was at Binondo the other day and along Ongpin
Street, where a restaurant was standing out from the rest. Mr. Ube and Rice Noodle
House is the newest addition to my list of favorite spot when it comes to
dining. The owner of Mr. Ube is also the
man behind the successful Eng Bee Tin, where I can find the famous Ube Hopia
and Tikoy.
